…still not sure if I’ll post a pt. 2 – maybe I’ll just use *those* photos to blackmail those involved in the future, when they’re rich and important people.

But here are the daytime pics, which are pretty cute and not embarrassing!

If you live under a rock and you’ve never heard of Milhões de Festa – check it out right now

What do you get after an excessive four-day festival where you also happen to perform with the best people – other than massive exhaustion? A warm, fuzzy feeling of love, friendship and accomplishment.

Also, crappy pictures of your lovely friends ♥

Can’t wait for next year’s Milhões de Festa :(

And we were in Isla Cristina, at a child-free hotel.
I’ve never been to one of these before but it’s amazing. As quiet and peaceful as a real vacation should be; 95% of the guests were german couples, most of them were elderly or retired, two or three lesbian couples, all good.
The hotel even had a sushi chef every other day (I kinda squealed a little when I first spotted him). We also went to a chiringuito twice to enjoy some delicious local noms. So delicious I could weep a little while I’m typing about them.
Basically, it was a joyful week spent eating, sleeping, reading, beaching, swimming pooling, and the occasional interneting.

Have some pix:

Every day is a terrible hair day whenever beach is involved. Also, hey! Meet my lovely parents <3

Here’s a couple of unique beach bods:

So, following this article on POSI+TIVE and this one after the 2011 edition of Milhões de Festa, here comes this little bundle of love for the festival, published in CHASED).

Once again, I am confessing my undying love for the festival, and trying to spread some of that love around :’)

Here are the pictures that didn’t make the cut, but are still fun to look at ♥

Throes + The Shine, chillin’ during an intensive workout/concert

Glockenwise + Barcelos street market

ALTO! playing at the pool / Joca vaguely reminds me of a backwards chubby bubbles girl here

Blues Pills, lovely

So there was a stage invasion during Throes + The Shine

Now let’s all weep ’cause it will only happen again next July.

I guess some summer festivals become more of a ritual than anything else.

Last year, Milhões took the #1 spot in my heart on this summer rank, but Paredes de Coura has its special place too. Not necessarily the festival itself, but the whole “sleeping in the castle + swimming pool + dancing” combo is a pretty sweet one.

So, here are some pictures from the last rituals:

This one is called “deer with a broken neck”. Inspired in Louis CK, Ponte da Barca 2011
